Intended working time: Full-time, 40h/week

Your tasks:

• As our Mechanical Engineer and Designer, you will construct and review the backbone of our ultra-precision machines, striving for optimal stability, ergonomics and appealing look.

• You will take care of getting from design to reality, by acquiring suppliers, external manufacturers and ressources, doing assembly and testing.

Your profile and qualifications:

• You have a good knowledge of mechanical fabrication processes and technical drawings for mechanical devices.

• You are able to analyze technical, manufacturability and maintainability issues and are able to develop high performance mechanical layouts in accordance with the SEMI standards.

• You are able to simulate and calculate mechnical designs and predict the technical characteristics of the system in advance, taking into consideration tolerances, dimensions and thermal and structural analysis.

• You have experience with Solidworks, Ansys, Comsol, PLM etc. (Precision Mechanics) and a Master in Mechanical Engineering.

• You are a team player who gets excited by innovation and technically complex challenges. Your outstanding analytical and rational problem-solving skills serve you well in that regard.

• You have good communication skills in English and do not hesitate to hint for possible improvements whereever you spot an opportunity. We will inspire each other to be the best we can be.

• Optimally, you already know about the basics of scanning probe microscopy, nano-scale manufacturing and the challenges that come with it.
